For generations people have been babywearing worldwide. Babywearing is simply a term used to describe holding your baby with the aid of a carrier. As simple as it sounds, babywearing is a skill that, for years, was passed down from parent to child. However, over the years, many of these skills have been forgotten or lost. This is where babywearers of Norther NJ comes in! We can help! We are not experts or professionals; just a group of very passionate babywearing moms who love to spread the word (and the skill) of babywearing. Here are just some of the ways we can help: -Pregnant and new moms (and dads!) can come see our carrier library to find one that might work for them. -Have a carrier? We can help you learn to use it with hands on help! -Overwhelmed with the different options? Come try on a carrier before you buy so you know what will work for you. -Already a skilled babywearer? Come help others, learn new skills, or simply meet like minded moms! Come help us spread the babywearing love!
